I have seen a few restaurants offering this standing roast chicken and when there is one nearby offering the same dish, I decided to drive all the way to IOI City Mall. I did not regret my decision as the roast chicken was totally fragrant and smokey in taste. There were other dishes that we have tried too and a notable one was the claypot shrimp rice. The fried shrimps imparted the sweet and briny flavour of the sea to the rice that was doused with a sweet and savoury sauce. The addition of the crispy pork lard just elevate the fish to higher level of deliciousness. The same can't be said for the sweet n sour pork with figs though. I find that it was more sweet than sour. I do like the corn with deep fried minced garlic. That was new to me as the garlicky taste paired up well with the sweetness of the corn. As for the stir fried long beans with olive leaves, let's just say there was no surprises, it was within my expectation.

Nice food, taste delicious, good quality of food. I like the 老黄瓜汤 very much。Environment is clean, atmosphere is nice and relax with HK famous songs. Service is good

Enjoyed the food, if you like strong & flavour taste this is the place to go for. Portioning is generous & attentive service. Love the fatty pork that melt in my mouth, the taste for SS pork is unique, fragrance Kam Heong clam & the beef fried kway teow which has room for improvement in the wok taste.

I had the pork patty rice and roasted pork belly rice with egg and both were v delicious. There are indoor and outdoor seatings, restaurant is spacious. Also tried the char siew wanton noodles and portion is big. Lunch set includes a hot or cold barley drink.
